BabyCalm(TM) is run by mum of four, Sarah Ockwell-Smith.

Sarah initially trained as a Psychologist, specialising in Developmental (child) Psychology, at university. Since then she has trained as a Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Homeopath, HypnoBirthing Practitioner, Doula and Developmental Baby Massage Teacher.  Sarah has trained with some of the most inspirational figures in the field of birth and babycare including Michel Odent, Francois Freedman and Peter Walker.

Sarah's passion has always been for babies and children and she chose to specialise in this area in 2002. Since then she has helped over 400 families to settle into life as a new family, happily and healthily.

Sarah also runs a very successful business specialising in pregnancy and birth - offering HypnoBirthing(TM) classes, birth doula services and homeopathy and hypnotherapy for fertility, pregnancy and birth to the women of Cambridge, Essex, Herts & Suffolk. Sarah lives in a little old cottage in Saffron Walden, North Essex, with her four children, husband, 7 chickens and 4 cats. Sarah works from her home in Saffron Walden and at premises across Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
