BabyCalm^® are proud to present their first conference, focussing on the newborn period from the point of view of the mother, the father, the baby and the child the baby will become. 

We will be studying how this critical period can shape the psychological and physical health of the new baby as well as have a profound effect on the lives of the mother and father and their subequent relationship with each other. We will study the psychology of communication, bonding and breastfeeding and consider research into the impact of the beginnings of life upon the personality of the future child. Guest speakers include Naomi Stadlen, Michel Odent, Oliver James and Patrick Houser.
