Michelle Heaton Loves Our BabyCalm Antenatal Workshop

We had the great pleasure of working with Michelle Heaton and her husband Hugh Hanley  who took our BabyCalm Antenatal Workshop last Sunday, just in the nick of time with baby Faith arriving just two days later! Michelle is already using many of the techniques we taught her in the class and loves her BabyCalm swaddle sheet and baby calming CD.

75th BabyCalm® Teacher!

We are delighted that our 75th teacher has just joined the BabyCalm® team, what an amazing year we have had, now to aim for our 100th teacher and our ultimate aim of 200 UK BabyCalm® teachers by the end of 2012 - wish us luck, the more teachers we have the more we can help new parents to experience a happy and confident time with their newborn.

BabyCalm® at the Earl's Court Baby Show

We had a great long weekend at the Earl's Court Baby Show spreading the gentle parenting word (much needed after listening to some of the speakers on the main stage!), distributing 5000 leaflets and helping parents learn to babywear. We spent a great 20 minutes with Michael Underwood and Angellica Bell who are now the proud owners of one of our Moby wrap slings. Here's Michael learning how to babywear assisted by one of our teachers, Ali, we can't wait to see pictures of him wearing his baby!

BabyCalm® Go Global!

BabyCalm®  win prize in Barclay's Business Awards!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that BabyCalm® have just been announced as a runner up in the Barclay's Take One Small Step Competition - we made it through two tough judging rounds and a public vote, where over 5000 entries were whittled down to just 27. We are absolutely delighted with the business recognition and the chance to use our prize money to help bring BabyCalm® and the gentle parenting word to the masses, not to mention also creating 200 new self employed female businesses within the next 3years. BabyCalm's directors Sarah and Charlotte spent a wonderful evening in London for the gala dinner which was presented by popular TV personality Kate Thornton. Kate loved the BabyCalm® philosophy and commented "where were you guys when I had my baby 3yrs ago - I desperately needed you!" - if you have any more babies Kate, you know where we are!

Sarah wins "Britain's Busiest Mum" Award!

BabyCalm® are really proud to announce that co-director Sarah Ockwell-Smith has been awarded the title of "Britain's Busiest Mum" in a competition run by mobile company 3 in collaboration with OK! magazine. Sarah is delighted to have won a Caribbean family holiday as well as a mobile makeover to be featured in an upcoming issue of OK! Magazine!
